JL Boston Location

The Junior League of Boston is located at 117 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116 in the Back Bay section of Boston. The building is in the heart of a busy retail and historic district with many one-way streets, so traffic and parking can be challenging.

Directions

Mass Pike I-90 from the West (eastbound on I-90)
Take the Copley Square exit.
At bottom of ramp, turn left onto Dartmouth Street.
Turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue.
Turn right onto Clarendon Street.
Turn right onto Newbury Street. The Junior League is on the first block on the right.

Storrow Drive from the West (eastbound on Storrow)
Take the Copley Square Exit.
This puts you onto Clarendon Street. Drive 5 blocks.
Turn right onto Newbury Street.

Mass Pike I-90 from the East (westbound on I-90)
Take Cambridge exit, stay right and turn right at light onto Storrow Drive (below)

From I-93 Southeast Expressway AND From Storrow Drive from the East
Take Storrow Drive exit. This puts you on Storrow Drive heading west.
Take the Copley Square / Rt. 28 exit.
Turn right onto Beacon Street at light.
Turn left onto Clarendon Street at second light.
Turn right onto Newbury Street.

Parking
The Back Bay Garage has entrances on Clarendon Street between Boylston and St. James Streets, and on St. James Street between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets. Metered parking is available on Newbury Street, as well as on surrounding side streets.

Public Transportation
The League office is within easy walking distance of the Boston T subway green line Copley Square stop and the orange line Back Bay stop. There are also buses that run on Boylston Street. Taxicabs are relatively easy to catch, especially on Boylston Street.
