Get inspired by the 45th Anniversary Decorators’ Show House held in May 2016
Our most recent Show House was held at the Nathaniel Allen House in West Newton. This 1854 Greek revival property was home to educator Nathaniel Allen and was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the property had fallen into disrepair. Through Show House 2016, the Junior League and our 25 designer partners provided for an early stage restoration of this historic gem and paved the way for a $2 million Community Preservation Fund grant from the City of Newton. The fundraising success of Show House 2016 enabled the pre-funding of one and a half years of Junior League of Boston community service programming. Our 19 community service programs enrich the lives of disadvantaged girls throughout greater Boston. Thank you for your support of Show House.
