Emily Smith

Project Manager at Dealpath | University of Vermont

I am a project manager who works on small “Agile” software development teams. We build software for the commercial real estate industry. I started my career in software as a quality assurance tester and worked my way up to project manager. I work closely with software engineers, QAs, product managers, and marketing.

Katherine Koniares

Physician at CCRM Fertility | Boston College (undergrad)

Dr. Katherine G. Koniares, is a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist at CCRM Fertility in Boston, where she provides comprehensive fertility care. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and a Master’s in Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Connecticut, following residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Koniares earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College. She has a strong academic focus, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national presentations addressing infertility, assisted reproductive technology, and health disparities in reproductive care. Her research has been recognized with multiple awards from organizations including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the New England Fertility Society. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Koniares is currently on the boards of the New England Fertility Society, the Emerging Leaders of the Boston Public Library Fund, and Junior League of Boston.

Madison Price

Pharmacist at Massachusetts General Hospital

I graduated from University of Tennessee with my PharmD and the University of Memphis with an MBA. I completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency in Memphis, TN. I then moved to Boston to start an ambulatory oncology pharmacist position at Massachusetts General Hospital. After my first year at MGH, I was able to transition my job into 50:50 outpatient and inpatient oncology.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as an official charity partner for the 2025 Boston 10K for Women! The 10k will be held on October 11, 2025, beginning at Beacon Street in Boston!

As a Charity Partner, JL Boston will receive 100% of the funds the JL Boston Race Team raises. We invite you to join the JL Boston Race Team and show your support for the Junior League of Boston by raising funds to help us continue our community programs. These programs are focused on the economic empowerment of women and girls in the Greater Boston area.

How to Join the JL Boston Race Team for the Boston 10K For Women 1. Click here to begin your registration for Team JL Boston 

2. Search for “Junior League of Boston” and complete your registration

3. You will be prompted to become a personal fundraiser during registration. Do not forget to select the “Junior League of Boston”

By joining JL Boston’s Race Team, you are committing to fundraising a minimum of $500. This amount must be raised in advance of the race to ensure your place on the team. I joined the JL Boston Race Team! Now What? 1. Reach out to your network to let them know you’re racing to support the Junior League of Boston and send them your individual fundraising page! Each team member must raise a minimum of $500, through the Boston 10K for Women’s platform to participate. Remember, JL Boston receives all funds raised to support our community programs!

1. Complete the Junior League of Boston’s General Fitness Waiver by October 1, 2025.
2. Continue to check your email, and Junior League of Boston social media for updates and communications.

Join the Junior League of Boston at the Newport International Polo Series’ 2024 All-Day Charity Benefit Match! Tailgating begins at 3:30 pm, and the Polo match begins at 5 pm.

Get your tickets today!  Members should purchase their tickets via the Member Calendar. Tickets are $45 for non-members; $10 for youth between the ages of 13-17; $0 for youth between the ages of 0-12 

Tickets must be purchased by Monday, July 7th – no exceptions will be made and tickets are not available at the door. Please note that everyone attending is required to show a ticket upon entry.

What is Newport Polo’s All Charity Day Benefit Match? The Newport International Polo Series 8th annual All Charity Day on Sunday, July 13, 2025, is a fun afternoon for the supporters of dozens of 501(c)3 organizations to enjoy exciting polo action and a convivial outdoor experience to benefit local civic and charitable organizations. The event allows local non-profits to participate in the typical polo match luxuries while raising money for their causes and organizations.

Tickets must be presented at the gate for entry, and can be presented on paper or your phone. You will be unable to enter the event without presenting the ticket. Ticket sales end at noon on Sunday, July 13, and tickets are unavailable at the gate. Ticket purchasers will receive their tickets via email.

There is no rescheduled date if this event is canceled due to weather. Ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. If you can no longer attend this event, we encourage you to pass your ticket along to someone who can attend.

We will be hosting a potluck-style tailgate. All are welcome to participate and cook up their famous tailgate favorites. Please be sure to let us know what you are bringing to the potluck by signing up on this sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mpMxrWFYWgkEXOf1yE53PfafyhNPyws7ZbJEQtxMMs8/edit?usp=sharing.

The tailgate is BYOB, so please bring your drink of choice! As a BYOB event, please remember that whatever you bring in, you bring out. Please drive safely.
