Boston uncommon Featured on Morning News Show

(Dedham, MA) March 13, 2007 – The Junior League of Boston’s Centennial celebration cookbook,Boston uncommon, was featured on Fox25 Morning News show. In an interview with Kim Carrigan, Boston uncommon cookbook chair and member Pam Berutti, highlighted the impact the cookbook proceeds will allow the JLB to make in the greater Boston communities.

Chef Dave Becker of Sweet Basil in Needham prepared a few select recipes to highlight on the show, including his very own Rosemary Chicken with Rigatoni. He also prepared “Green Monster” Dip, Herb-Roated Sea Bass and a hometown favorite, Boston Baked Beans. Chef Becker helped style the recipes in he Cookbook.

Boston uncommon has been featured in local papers since it’s launch last Fall. Boston uncommon is on sale at www.jlboston.org and at select Talbot’s stores. All proceeds benefit the mission and community programs of the Junior League of Boston.
