As the city slowly thaws from a brutal winter, the Junior League of Boston is springing in to action for the last few months of our program year.  To raise funds for our community programs and connect with our neighbors, we’re hosting a variety of events in March ranging from the practical to the fabulous.  We encourage you to join us for one or all three!

First, we’re excited to be hosting the 2015 Annual Charity Gala! The flagship event of the League will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common hotel. Featuring a V.I.P. dinner, dancing and a silent auction, all proceeds from this event will directly benefit the League’s community partnerships.

The V.I.P. dinner at the Ritz will begin at 6:00 pm followed by a seated dinner. This will be a terrific time to catch up with fellow League members and meet non-League members interested in making a difference in the Greater Boston community. Dancing, cocktails and the auction will begin at 8:30 pm. The auction will last until 11:00 pm and a live band will play until approximately 11:30 pm.

Last year, the League raised over $64,000.00 at the Great Gatsby Ball through sponsorships and a silent auction. This year’s silent auction will feature luxury items surely to tempt all of the Gala’s guests. A two-night stay at Canyon Ranch plus spa treatments, a David Yurman bracelet, an autographed baseball from Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz, a one-night stay at The Ocean House on Watch Hill beach, and aTory Burch Robinson double-zip tote are all up for grabs.

• Navigating the Massachusetts Real Estate Market – join the League at the Back Deck Bar on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 6:00 pm to meet a local real estate agent, attorney and broker who can answer all of your home buying and selling questions. For just $25, you will get complimentary cocktails and appetizers as well as some great insider tips! • Yoga at CorePower Yoga – looking to lengthen your limbs for the Gala? Join the League at this new yoga studio located in Allston on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 6:30 pm for an hour long class. 100% of your $25 ticket will directly go toward the League’s mission. Enjoy this unique combination of heated power yoga, and take advantage of the discounted class packages at the end of the class.
