JL Boston is very excited to roll out its new Public Advocacy Committee, which will tackle larger social issues in Boston. Supported by the League’s mission, the Public Advocacy Committee will work to influence public policy–both legislative and regulatory–and other key stakeholders statewide on critical non-partisan/bi-partisan issues relevant to the League’s mission for civic life and issue-based community service. The Committee will implement a model similar to those developed by other Junior Leagues for outreach, advocacy, education, and development of member awareness regarding the needs and opportunities available to increase our influence upon critical social issues in Boston.

We Want To Hear From You!

With this in mind, it is very important that we hear from our membership about what issues you would like to see JL Boston support. Please let us know by completing a very brief survey.

For additional information please contact Public Advocacy Committee Chair, Carrie Murphy.
