On this Veteran’s Day 2015, the Junior League of Boston thanks all of those serving and touched by military service for keeping the United State of America and its Allies safe for this generation and beyond. We are also proud to recognize members of our own organization and their families for their dedicated and loyal service to our country including Christina Sullivan, member of the Nominating Council, and Abigail Lafond, Development Outreach Chair, who both serve as Active Members of the U.S. Coast Guard. Successful military service requires the commitment and support of the entire family. The Junior League of Boston thanks Placement Manager Jennifer Mullen and her husband Thomas, who is currently deployed, for their service. JL Boston also thanks Sarah McKinnon, member of the Nominating Council, and her husband Brendan, for active service in the U.S. Coast Guard. To all veterans – serving at home and abroad – thank you.
